Tijuana Police Department

We traveled south of the border to create “TJPD”: a reality show that takes us into the lives of the dedicated officers of the Tijuana Police Department — who risk their lives in a war zone just minutes, but a world away, from the United States. We were given unprecedented access to all divisions of the department: riding with the border patrol one day, a special ops team the next – followed by all-night shifts with the men and women who patrol Avenida Revolución – TJ’s colorful yet increasingly violent tourist section. The result is “TJPD”: an inside look at the men and women who go into battle on a daily basis with criminal elements that have nearly taken over a nation — trying to dispense justice in a Wild West town fueled by 60 billion a year in drug profits.
